Silva has brilliant 5 yard acceleration. That's more important than blistering pace. He's not slow either.
McNeil does look slow so far. I don't think it's unfair to say that.
He was good in the first half and proper all over the place after half-time, should have been sent off

I think its unfair that most have just totally written McNeil off already.
Hamez crawled around the pitch, I get it, people love the pacey guys, but pace isnt everything.
He's never been quick (McNeil, this is).
He'd also never played anywhere but left wing for any sustained amount of time
Hamez could make simple 10-yard passes to be fair to him
But do agree with your point, I just think McNeil needs to be played in a pretty specific way and at the moment we aren't doing that, which isn't on him. But he's also looked a bit lost.
