I want him to succeed too because I want Everton to do well. I had seen enough of him at Chelsea though to think that he wasn't the man to take us forwardGive it a rest mate.
Stuff like this just stifles actual discussion and nuanced opinions because we end up in a situation where everyone takes exaggerated stances in order to be seen as either ‘for’ or ‘against’.
I want lampard to succeed, I like some of the things he’s doing (trying to play more football for one) and I like how he comes across. I also have some reservations about him and think we’re getting to the point where he’s got to start showing some tangible signs of things getting better
