He may be, but there are so many examples of this forum writing off young players too early. Every player deserves half a season before hard opinions are formed.

This forum has written off Gordon as championship standard, yet he’s worth £60m

I take all opinions on here with a pinch of salt because 2/3 are plain wrong.

Might be a little confidence missing. But he has looked like no more than a U23 player in our competitive games so far. With so many PL apps it's disappointing, even if he's 22.

He can put a lot more effort in. I'm not happy with his lack of intensity. He should be standing out in that sort of game and didn't.

Unfortunately I just don't think he is any good.

He’s a very very average player and should be nowhere near our starting lineup this season.

Proper cop out that argument. He should be offering far more than he is.

I hope so but he needs to ask himself why he looks so slow and lacking energy. Thats not going to cut it at Everton. Its not good enough at this club.
