The doubt surrounding the execution of that last paragraph is what’s worrying me.

Very true indeed.

Although Onana seems a good purchase, so they must have their eyes on some of these gems. Whether we can get it through before Moshiri runs in holding a video best bits of Isco is another matter.

The obsession with the local extremely overpriced market is baffling, most of our fans were happy to pay 20M+ for Sar, Denis and now Joao Pedro knowing that all 3 of them were playing in the same team last year, the team that was worse than us and got relegated, Broja is the next Pele according to almost every Evertonian, his stats and Youtube videos are average at best.

Chelsea willing to pay up to £60m for Gordon…

Imagine last season someone said to you “Richarlison & Gordon for a combined £120m”. That is crazy money.

Reinvest in 4 quality £30m players and the squad is massively improved as a result.
We could have got at least £15m more for Richarlison in this market had we not had to sell to a deadline, but I agree with your general point.

With the Gordon proceeds we would have to bring in at least two signings.

That's assuming two forwards though as the priority not including another on loan.

Remains to be seen then if funds stretch elsewhere for Gana and free transfers, or yet further loans.

The priority though is getting goals added to the squad. Everything else is secondary.
