Yeah, I'm not of the school of thought you shouldn't sign players from relegated sides, but he's been relegated twice now and you have to ask whether his inconsistency is a part of that. Happy to leave Villa to this one.

I'd say that was Lampard trying to be diplomatic mate. We don't need 1 striker, we need 2 real attacking players
