Theres a thing on the BBC news app which is asking who had the better team- Man Utd in 1999, who won the treble or them lot from last season, who won two shootouts. Some RS balloon is trying to make out that they would easily beat that Utd team because of advances in fitness and tactics etc.Then he mentions how many games Utd lost that season compared with the RS last season and points won, goals scored and conceded but contradicts himself by claiming the opposition is so much better these days. A twenty team league where fourteen are massively disadvantaged financially certainly wasn’t in evidence at the turn of the century.

Man City were the best English team last year due to the simple fact that they won the league so last year's RS shouldn't even be an option.
