ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Pressure massively on Utd, but if they're clever and get stuck, you just never know.
They'll have to contain Salah and Diaz and that's pretty much it. Firmino looks a risk to play.

The Liverpool midfield is non-existent. I'd expect United to get control there and Eriksen pulling strings.

A draw is distinclty possible. It's a perfect game for United to regain face.

You’d like to think Rashford Martial Sancho could exploit that high line but it’ll probably be largely dependant on whether United can keep them out. If Ten Haag can tighten them up and have them sitting deep against them then they could get something because Liverpool don’t look like scoring aside from mistakes and worldies at the moment.

For all you Gobshite lurkers this behaviour sums you lot up you don’t win a match and you get a player righty sent off and your response is for your opposing player to die just take that in everyone. Some of their fan base are absolute scum. No wonder they are hated all over the country
This is after they lost a largely meaningless game early in the season against a team who aren't their rivals. Their fan base are actually extremely dangerous really, to be honest not all of them are bad some can have a bit of banter, however you do find when they lose, they aren't up for any at all. I think the problem is they have developed this identity, that has been cultivated by the middle class Southern press, that they are somehow this anti establishment club, whose fans are the best in the world and how they're completely different from other supporters, the mocking of Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United supporters as being glory hunters with awful supporters, despite their ground being just as full of tourists if not more, and their away supporters are terrible. There's more Mancs at United games home and away than, there's Scousers at the RS. It's why you get all the fake Scouse accents to pretend their this huge Scousers.

A bellend of the highest order on talksport saying the defender wound the rs up and that's not right.
Even Goldstien wondered wtf he was speaking about.
Funny when ratboy Robertson does it...Robbo eh..
He's obviously never played a minute of competitive football.

As a CH you would employ all kinds of snide, sac whacks at corners, treading on toes, shirt pulling, getting in their ear laughing at each mistake made. Endless.

I think they are pretty much regarded as the worst in the country.

They are loathed by most other fans.
They are loathed by most match going fans as they have to mix with them from time to time but they still have a big support with tv fans who latch on to their winning mentality and history, it is easy to say you are a Liverpool supporter.
Unfortunately modern day football is no longer about match going fans.

I know it's against Liverpool, but United haven't lost their opening three games since 1986.

They're at home and coming off the back of a humiliating defeat.

I dont expect them to be beaten against that Liverpool team, tbh. There's a point there for them...and maybe all three.
