I think of the new signings he's definitely started the worst. It's concerning, I would give him a 5 for both performances. The next game against forest might be more suited for him, only positive is he is only 22 so he can improve but early signs aren't great.

I could see the logic behind signing him over cornet given both his age and potential. 2 seasons back he did look a player but last season he looked average. He does seem a bit one footed and doesn't appear to excel at anything, not lightning quick, not the most skillful.

I wouldn't give up on him yet but its hard to see him suddenly raising his level considerably.

Whilst important not to write a player off after 2 games, it’s also perfectly viable to judge the 2 games he’s played so far.

The worst debut I can remember from an Everton player vs Chelsea, absolutely miles away from the game. Some of our fans who don’t really get football will use the excuse they didn’t really see much of him so how was it that bad? That’s the point.

vs Villa, as bad a second appearance as you’ll ever see. Less anonymous but far more offensive. We’re at a point where Andros Townsend coming back and replacing him would be 10x the player.

Not a winger. Iwobi offers more energy and running power that is better suited down the flanks.

We’ve signed a winger who is not a winger.
