Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning guys, and sisters. Another beautiful day down here.

It's a big day in the Cornish social and cultural calendar. The Fleetwood Back and The Bohemians rock concert tonight. Going for a curry first. Neighbour says the Falmouth firework display is also on tonight. That marks the end of Falmouth week and is normally on the Saturday. Not sure how they are going to fit that in with the concert which is also outdoors.

Anyway, have a great Friday everyone.
Boardmasters festival on as well Fred.

I actually saw that on the National News this morning after I made that post. It's unusual for something down here to make the National news. I'd forgotten about it if I'm hinest.

By contrast there was nothing on the local news headlines this morning. Don't need to really. Anybody between the ages of 17 and 21 living in Cornwall will be there anyway. They called it Covid City last year as everybody who went caught it. lol

Radio 1 have been hyping it up a lot over the last week which is how I know of it myself.

Hope they all brought plenty of sunscreen.

Yeah it's becoming more popular with people from outside Cornwall these days. Obviously not big enough to attract any TV coverage though. Probably just as well given what goes on there (from what I've heard lol).

Their sunscreen will no doubt consist of drugs, alcohol and sex, with maybe a bit of surfing thrown in.lol In fairness, it's good to see they have the weather this year. Usually they don't.

Just like any other festival I have been to then bar the surfing.
