Some blert on TalkSport the other week, before the first game, came on announcing triumphantly that der mighty redmen would win the league by AT LEAST eight points, because Nunez is so good that he will score over 50 goals in the league alone!

When asked how much he had seen of this powerhouse among footballers to make this startling claim, he said he had seen 'enough' and started burbling about having watched him in the CL. I think we all know the real answer was 'Just the Shield mate - you see, I'm a complete knobtrumpet, and I have to write with crayons'. But they didn't press him further...

Harvey Elliott has signed a new long term contract until 2027 with Liverpool.
Elliott, who joined Liverpool from Fulham in July 2019, only signed a new contract a year ago and his latest deal is a reward for his continuing development.
The 19-year-old can play as an attacking midfielder or winger but missed a large part of last season after suffering an ankle injury against Leeds in September.
Elliott is now fully fit and came on as a substitute in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Fulham last Saturday in their first league game of the season.

No indication if wages, same with Joya’s new deal. Funny how we’re told the wages of every Everton deal by the media but the club who don’t spend anything are silently just renewing contracts.

How quickly it’s forgotten as well about Salah’s 400k a week wages.

incorrectly told. Some outlets have Onana on £100,000 per wk, when it actually £30-35k max.
