Two chances, one from Gray and one where McNeil could’ve slid him in but he went the wrong way to Doucoure. He bags 1 of them 2 if not both and nobody is saying a bad word about him. Got fed nothing all game. Played well out of position I thought.

Him not really scoring or assisting shouldnt all of a sudden be a surprise. Hes a young player, he will improve gradually - not suddenly start adding the most difficult parts of being a footballer over the summer. Lets see where he is next season. Please dont do the whole ‘HES ONE OF US AND THE BEST PROSPECT IN WORLD FOOTBALL’ to ‘cant hit a barn door, waste of space’ switch on him already. Neither are true and both are equally silly.
Imo he is currently on the level of a very good championship player, with the tools to sometimes be a decent PL player. I have faith in him to keep improving, he seems a hard worker and eager to learn. Should never ever play as a striker tho.
