Do we reckon DCL injury could impact gana signing. If there is a fee would we now pause it to get a striker in first. Then potentially get couple loans in for midfield. Or try loan a striker in. We simply don’t know how much money we can spend.
No. I think trying to buy a striker right now is absolute madness. The loan system is our friend here, hopefully with a reasonable option attached to whoever we get in.

He didn't put a run of games together at any point from his initial injury. In fact, he's been struggling with injuries since Christmas 2020. This is not bad luck, this is bad planning.
He even had to be pulled from a friendly 2 weeks ago as a “precaution” after feeling a twinge. Sounds defeatist be we are all old enough and ugly enough to have seen this a few times. If the news is true. Fingers crossed.

Importantly, if he struggled mentally with the constant setbacks last year, poor lad (don’t care how rich he is) must feel really really bad right now. Wish him the best. Hope he is being appropriately supported by the club and family.

Rondon is not a starting striker in this league anymore. Mcneil plays off a wing he isn't a "forward" in the same way. Richy could play across the forward line if you think we didn't need additions in forward areas even before this injury then you clearly missed us only scoring forty odd goals and finishing 16th last season?!
McNeil is a forward in our system at present.

The adding goals was DCL being healthy!

I can understand signing a goalscorer winger but honestly I'd have put a pure striker down the list a good bit.
