Would be madness to not bring in an attacker
Oh aye, agreed. Sorry, I didn't make it clear that I meant the absolute minimum we have to do to stand any chance of staying up is upgrade the midfield. Sort the midfield AND upgrade the attack = slow but steady movement up the table.

But if we bring in the attacker and DON'T upgrade the midfield then it won't make a shred of difference. We'll go down.

Need a Gibbs-White or someone

Need Gallacher imo - the reports glowing on him for Chelsea this year have shifted this week to 'not suited for Tuchels system' even their forums are mirroring that after his last two games in that deep pivot spot Tuchel uses which he doesn't seem to be suited for and which takes away a huge part of his attacking game - it's like if a young Lampard would have played there imo, he wouldn't have become the player he did

Grab him with an option if possible on loan, loan in Gueye, buy Gilmore cheap, loan that young lad at PSG.

Assuming wolves ain't selling MGW otherwise try buy him

Assuming we can raise enough.

Better scoreline. Need to sort the set pieces out (still). What was Pickford doing for the first goal? However, every defender just stood there and watched it go in. Apart from his 2 goals I thought Alli was far too casual in his approach. Patterson and Myko were very good throughout. One slip in concentration, but Tarkowksi looked assured.

Still glaringly obvious that we are doomed if we don’t bring in another striker.
