Honestly I don't really have a particular player in mind as I'm mostly familiar with premier league teams and I think we have to go beyond the epl for a solid sitting defensive Midfielder as the established ones in the epl are unlikely to come here. That's where I'd like the scouts to actually come in and find someone so the guy from Wolfsburg would be welcomed. In a dream world I'd like to find a player that had similar attributes to Moutinho from wolves but younger hell I wouldn't even mind mid 30s Moutinho would transform our squad
I’ve got be very careful that I don’t start sounding like a Harry Winks fan boy (I’m not!) but some of his forward passing is very good and he created lots of opportunities for Dele, Kane and Son. Admittedly it’s proper crap we’re discussing him, but I honestly can’t last another season of zero possession or passing ability from our current lot. If we had any money or appeal, who would you go for?

He's not the worst player in the world and could be a decent bit of business if it's a loan deal or small/structured permanent deal, and as much as he was probably the best midfielder in the world in my Spurs save on FM21, he could also be just another average signing for us. Worth a punt if the deal is right, moreso than the other names linked so far.
