The defence doesn't know how to transition to midfield it's painful and we saw it too much last season. Nulls everything when there's just unforced errors everywhere

That's the problem with this formation if you can't keep the ball or get up the field it becomes a 532

I worst thing about this system it means Dele Ali will never play the position he’s best at, off the striker. Pointless having him wide.

Turning into more and more of a baffling signing. If this is the system Lampard wants to play then there’s no room for him.

Correct.

Comes down to the midfield. We have nobody wanting the ball.

You want 3 ball playing defenders (we have none)
2 wingbacks who are good on the ball and can play in midfield and upfront with brilliant fitness (we have none)
one deep lying midfielder running to defence to retrieve the ball and disperse it to wingbacks and other midfielders. (we have none)
and a good box to box or ball wining mid (we have allan and docuoure) but both of them arent very good.
