Timely reminder that if we get smashed tonight it isn't the end of the world. Will be our first game vs their third with a far better squad than ours.

I'm just really disappointed that our first proper game of pre-season is happening as late as 16 July..

I find it pretty ridiculous we haven't played yet. It seems very disorganised

If the suns shining I cant even see down The Park End most of the time.

I mean sure, you do see the little things that cameras dont track, but its much of a muchness IMO.

When the advertising board is flashing behind the goal park end I can't see a bloody thing from the st end.i know getting ol

Its a shame that im part of the "TV gives a better view" group.

Can't agree with that. You can follow the game a lot better when you can see what players are doing and moving in the other two
thirds of the ground.

Top balcony is the best view. Far better than TV

yeah Everton put very minimal bout it being on, but no mention of any paid passes or anything.

That Joe Williams interview, with Ashley Cole, was really good. Especially the parts regarding the players after Spurs.

Shows why we struggled. I’d love to know what mess they walked in to, sounds like the atmosphere was awful

I learned years ago to ignore preseason results. Just about fitness getting tactics sorted and praying no injuries.

Very clammy here on east coast today, could be tricky conditions for an evening game so it may well be an MLS like slow paced pre-season affair.

Saw a couple of blues, one gooner, in newark airport last evening. Driving down to baltimore shortly with my ten year old blue, looking forward to footy being back. MLS ably tries but not the same!
