I’m not saying we sell him I just wouldn’t panic if we did that’s all.

Personally I’d like to see us bringing in some goal scoring threats from other positions too.
Agree with you there mate. We need threats from midfield and out wide as well as another forward(Rondon isn't good enough). I am just saying we need to add to this squad now not lose another key player after Richy. I know people are mixed on Dom I am at times too but he can be effective if we make him cha ces and he is now our main goal scorer, we need to get more out of him and we need more goals from the whole team as you rightly suggested not losing more. We only finished 16th last season, we lose both forwards I would be very concerned.

According to this article, Dutch eredivisie outfit Cambuur Leeuwarden want to sign Joao Virginia.

Can someone help me with this? Sorry if it's already been covered:

We have sold Richy for £60m and then we reuse that same £60m to buy new players, and at the same time, we use the weekly wages of Delph, Kenny, Sigurdsson, Tosun, and presumably either Gomes, Rondon or someone else if they leave - how have we 'saved' or 'reduced' our expenditure to fit in with FFP rules?
And it's obvious, isn't it, that we were not using Dele until the new season, to avoid paying that extra £20m?
I am super optimistic, but can't help always talking / thinking about our incompetence. Never mind the £300 - 500m has got us nowhere.

We weren’t paying for Dele until after July even if he’d started every game.

I bet nobody called this in the itk thread
Big news

Here's the full bit from Bobble...

Some reports suggested Richarlison was 'desperate' for a move? Yes, he wanted European football, but he wanted that with Everton and to succeed here! Any frustration over the sale of our best player, should firmly lie at board room level, with not even Kevin Thelwell having a say in this transfer for the record. This was a transfer to balance the books, and nothing more. A race against the clock before the July 1st deadline to process the documents (as discussed on the Benj and Bobble episode), Tottenham knew Everton's stance of 60 million was a figure we would and could not turn down. For the record, a player swap transaction with money involved was never going to happen, due to us so desperate to balance the books. Richarlison goes with my best wishes, just not when he plays against Everton.

When will this crap ever end?

I get it that gossip and rumour sells but these type of stories and happenstance seems to be the narrative for most of what goes on in the club. It’s tragic.

There charging for this info now £2, whoever is letting this out of the club is breaking all sorts of professional confidentiality I’d say, the club allows this to happen it’s an absolute dysfunctional mess

Worrying that this lad is constantly revealing the inner workings of the club I think. Good for us as fans to get some insight but ultimately not healthy that there are these leaks.

I don't think there is anything there that wasn't widely known.
