I was born in Glasgow - I watch them enough (I can give you guesstimate percentage figures since about 1989 when I remember watching the Sweden WC qualifier game, but whats the point?).

The whole team was gash vs Ukraine (would you not have McGinn here? He was worse than Gilmour that game). We were worse vs RoI until he came on.

We (Scotland) have generally played better when he plays. IMO
Just wondered, seems the casual observer opinion of him is that recent Scotland England game, where he had a good game. If you watch him and you rate him, no probs.

I wouldn’t have McGinn out the team for a bad game because he’s consistently getting me if the best performers, Gilmore isn’t.

In that 523 setup Scotland play (and lampard seems to favour) he doesn’t have the physicality or mobility, to play in the midfield two. Gap between defence and the front three gets stretched and he gets overrun.

Billy Boggs 25m fee, 50k a week
Jimmy Jacobs 25m fee, 50k week
Harry Biggs 25m fee, 50k week
James Billy 25m fee, 50k week
Biggie James 25m fee, 50k week

Year 1
10m paid to each selling club on purchase, 250k a week wages = 63m
Year 2
7.5m paid to each selling club, 250k a week wages = 50m
Year 3
7.5m paid to each selling club, 250k a week wages = 50m

Do you see how this could be become an issue? @Zatara
You’re getting cash confused with expense

Financial fair play is concerned with profit and loss, which is influenced by amortisation over the length of a players contract

We really need big years from Calvert Lewin and Davies. Could be like new signings if they perform. It's going to be difficult for Davies to play as badly as Gomes and Allen who wouldn't get a game at any other premier league side.

Need to sack that off. Screwed us over with Geri if I remember rightly.
Apparently their could be movement as early as next week, a former player is the original source from the guy who passes it on to me. Think Chelsea include them in the vast majority of deals, don't know if they've ever used them or not

We probably wont do...but we CAN do.

Its also shown to work but people wanting to spend £16/20mil on Dennis when he was signed for £3mil last summer and performed for 2.5 months.

Its all about forward planning and basic mathmatics with sensible risk analysis.

If we spend LESS than £49mil weve generated from selling Richarlison then that would be childlike and braindead.

You need to have risk in investments.

Here's the big flaw in your calculations Zat mate, it's one a lot of people do.

We sell Richarlison for 50m then you calculate that as that instantly hits the books it allows us to spend at least that and in fact a lot more as fees in will be spread over the contract so say 3 year contracts we can spend 90m and only 30m hits the books this season and then next 30m etc, correct?

But what you are then forgetting is using that form of calculation every player we have bought over the past three seasons this coming season will have a third of the cost of the deal having to be factors in

So just take last season we sold Digne - none of that goes onto this coming seasons books, but we bought Gray, Mykolenko And Patterson.

A % of their fees now comes off what we can spend this sesson, correct?

Roll that back to the season before and everyone bought under Carlo, we also have to pay a % of there fees which comes of this season, again, correct?

See now the huge flaw in your calculations?
