One thing that we must keep in mind too is to not get caught up in the inevitable media narrative that we bought him for £50m and sold him for £50m + £10m add ons. This will no doubt be parroted because of the song that 'he only cost £50m', we bought him for £35m + add ons that were almost certainly not hit because he got less than 50 league goals for us, played less than 150 games, never played in Europe etc. I'm not sure of what they would've been but it's a safe bet that it would've been goals and achievements related, to which he wouldn't have reached. With Spurs it's probably the same with their add ons, he'll more than likely reach those though.
So yeah it's still not great of course but we've made at least a £15m profit on him, if not £25m, all while being in a terrible financial state. Don't let the media attempt to wind us up with their inevitable lies about it, it's bad enough already without that.
