Like this one time I was chatting with a kopite and he kept going on about how amazing Analfield was, and how much rich history it has...
To which I pointed out that it was our home ground before them. The lad laughed in my face and said You're taking the piss! Nice try!

I told him it's true: We had a disagreement with the landlord who was being a complete arsehole, so we said stuff this and that's when we moved to Goodison.

At which the lad did a quick google search on his phone only to find out it was true.

Being all smug, he said: So what? My reply was: Well, if it wasn't for the landlord being a complete arsehole, your club wouldn't exist.
Your club was born out of complete arseholery... A virtue which you carry with you to this day.

He didn't like that... So I thought: Let's see how far I can push it...

I told him: One of the major gripes we had was that the landlord wasn't looking after the land. The area where the modern day kop is, there was a issue with vagrants getting in and defecating, urinating and engaging in dirty nasty coitus all over the place.

That's why, on a particularly windy day, when the breeze hits the kop at just the right angle, you'll catch a whiff of yonder years gone by... Embedded into your history is a pungent odor that is a mixture of farces, urine and nasty shameful intercourse.

I Really hope mane is the exception to the ped removal rule, and he has a stellar career at Bayern.
