Which one is you @EverTheOptimist?

Just read this forum, it's not just Sky TV. It's lost on most that City have totally screwed up the financials with their work arounds and that's half the reason transfer fees and wages are through the roof. Part of the reason Everton have wasted so much money is there is no such thing as a bargain nowadays. I would love to know at what rate transfer fees and wages have gone up since City were taken over. I bet there has never been a rise like it previously.
Utter nonsense. We pull out of deals every year because of the cost. We got gazumped for Sanchez, Fred, Pogba and Slabhead, and that is just from one club. I'm not denying we have spent huge sums of money, but we rarely break transfer records.

The riot they started was turned into gold by them: it allowed them cover to retreat a few inches from their failed season - THAT is the truth of the matter too. There'd have been no talk of tear gas and riot police if they'd won that final. None. It'd have all been about a glorious treble.

There may well be better teams and bigger clubs in football than Liverpool, but no one is at the races with them when it comes to deflection and turning blame into praise.

I totally agree with you here @davek

Ill add to your final sentence....., "and the way they dupe the already bias media into believing their utter BS!"

They WERE the only club who could match you with wages and fees and it seems that has caught them up considering there lack of transfer activity thus far. A club that only spends what it earns cannot compete financially with City and there work arounds, fact.

It will be interesting to watch Chelsea’s spending considering they have new owner buz.

it will be very interesting to see Newcastles in a year or two also. Them and PSG may be able to compete with City, they all appear to have something in common.
