ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Just read uefa are going to compensate the 2700 fans with real tickets who never got in (which is good and the right thing to do)

I'm confused though, if there was no wrong doing on Liverpools part, why was there no empty seats? And why did it look overfilled on the TV?

As surely 2700 empty seats would be noticeable.
2700 Dr Funs and a seat each for their puppets?

Still waiting for the media to ask the question why there was no sign of this level of problems and trouble when city played Chelsea in the cl final the other year?

Did the Chelsea fans/hooligans who always cause trouble at the rs finals actually have that weekend off and didn’t bother following their own team in their final!?

Very odd…..

I’m still trying to get my head around how genuine Liverpool fans with real tickets were barred from the stadium and had to climb barriers to get in, yet they had more than their full allocation also actually inside the stadium, yet there were also no fake tickets.

It’s a mystery. Maybe a uefa conspiracy to allow local youths in dressed as Liverpool fans all without tickets whilst real fans were kept away for some reason. Truly baffling.

Or…..

Now that Richy and Frank have been charged by the FA, will Austin Powers and Murder Inc also get charged for nearly causing a crush in Paris?

Of course they won’t … why would the establishment club get blamed for anything. One manager calls out corruption, and the other nearly causes hundreds of deaths.

S**t stain FC.

Klopp apparently getting more say in transfers and contracts as part of his new deal now that Edwards is leaving. That could be a good thing, he reportedly wanted Traore and Sarr for big money whilst Salah was his fourth choice when he arrived. Let’s hope he throws a few sentimental contract offers around and buys a few duds.

I noticed that too.

And with what had transpired beforehand, how unfortunate for them that it was a French referee, in Paris.

They don't stand on ceremony in France at the best of times, neither in sport nor matters of law and order.

No truck is given to the overt and implied pressure they continuously rely on, with biased officials.

A number of chickens came home to roost for LFC last Saturday.

They should be thankful nobody lost their lives but of course that would be too much to expect.

They have been deprived of firstly a quadruple, and now a treble in the space of a week.

Despite the whitewash, it just hasn't been the best of weeks for them has it? It's been an utter disaster more like.
The nightmare week was deflected from by journalists who have been calling that lot for the last 4/5 months 'Immortals', and using the word 'quadruple' like it was a formality.

They have used Liverpool's latest riot in order to camouflage their embarrassment for their own claims.

One hand is washing the other here.

They take loads more than any other club who look to blag in games. That's their culture and no one else's. They're encouraged to do that by creeps like Klopp who wanted them all over in Paris...he is a spritual successor to that other creep Shankly who encouraged all this with his 'football is more important than life' nonsense.

The whole club should have been bulldozed after 1985. The world would be a far better place without them.

That is a call that is somewhat beyond beyond the pale: but I get your gist.
Liverpool Football Club has many, many good people supporting them. However there subsists a feral, rabid effluvium about them that stinks the joint out. I am sure, the former I mentioned, are as embarrassed about the latter, as is possible.
The blame lies fairly and squarely with a click-bait driven media which has totally abnegated it's responsibility in delivering truthful, objective commentary.
In a word, their performance has been disgraceful
Effluvium. Where's the word of the day thread when you need it!

62,000 trying to gain entry with a 19,000 allocation, Jesus Christ.

They deserve everything they get.
I don't know where 62,000 came from but you may recall I said "if LFC admit 2,800 FAKES were PRESENTED with only 5,000 or so in the ground...

We are now told "Real Madrid had 97% of their fans in the ground at 9pm local time, Liverpool 50%"

It's reasonable to assume: remembering that the key argument was the number PRESENTED at a specific moment in time, not a statistical argument of an exact number of fakes circulating.

If we claim 62,000 were present that makes 42,000 plus without a legitimate ticket (fakes or just no ticket at all). Even allowing for some overestimate (others suggested 40,000) that still makes 20,000 with tickets, 7,000 or so with fakes and 13,000 or so with no ticket at all. Either way 20-42,000 unauthorised attempts to enter the stadium is a staggering number that really doesn't wash away the shenanigans that lot were trying to perpetrate and - whilst the policing was scarcely perfect - one asks the basic question "what would Solomon have done?" when faced with a difficult problem of 20-40,000 mob trying to storm the Bastille, sorry, I mean Stadium.

I only watched the 2nd half on Saturday, but one thing I noticed was Madrid getting a few 50/50 ref decisions their way and the Liverpool players were exasperated about it.

They dont realise that's the way every single PL team's fans feel every week when Liverpool play their club.

I thought Madrid would get the rub of the green against them. They are a true European juggernaut and no ref will want to mess with them or their career is over.

I enjoyed that immensely.

Still doesnt explain the disallowed goal. You'd have thought that the ref would have been trying every trick in the book to get that one to stand but alas satans spawn got the decision. Thankfully it didnt matter in the end but my god what a terrible decision that was.

The pattern will still be the same.

Whoever they sign will suddenly become better than they have ever been, once they get them on the inhalers.

I'm willing to bet either of sarr or traore, would have become suddenly faster and fitter had they joined Liverpool
