What ability is that then? Not just happened this year. What has their ability given us these past 4-5 years. Zilch. We have to be very clear on this. The majority need to go and go from May 23rd onwards. It is the only way our club will move forward. Please do not muddy the waters.
The majority never had much ability to begin with and were hired by a Dutchman who either wasn't allowed to do his job or wasn't up to doing his job - most likely a combination of both. Andre Gomes, for example, was considered by some as the worst player ever to play for Barcelona. It was quite clear that he suffered some form of debilitating crisis there - but we bought him. Alex Iwobi was considered a disaster by many at Arsenal - but we bought him for a small fortune. Amazingly, some vaguely competent performances at the end of this season have some calling for a contract extension. Absolute madness.

But things change quickly at Everton. If we go down, a lot of the more sentimental talk about players, management, and board will turn to something a little more hard-edged. We need a purge come Monday. A huge, unsentimental, ruthless gulag-shaped purge. Without one, the forgiving types that are currently knocking around will have us plunged back into the same nightmare come August.

Where's that happening then?

Nobody told him to be crap for 4 months first I guess.
The point is, that just because someone is 'available' doesn't mean they are fit. We have players like DCL and Allan who have been making the bench despite knocks and inuries, because we don't have others for their positions.

Whereas newcastle maybe have more options who can slot in, so they haven't had to try to rush them back early. For example, instead of wilson, they have a striker in Wood.

While we have whatever Rondon is meant to be, so play a winger up top so more urgency to get DCL back on the pitch even when he isn't ready.

People give him grief, but it's catching on:
