Replay of the Rodwell Red. I AM FUMING.

I know I shouldn't say it, but I'd raise a large glass if Suarez's legs were splintered all over the ****ing shop this season.

As for not appealing the red card: I think Moyes got this almost spot on - they'll close ranks and Rodwell wil be landed with another couple of games suspension. What Moyes should have done though is said: "Atkinson's performance? Add him to the list of corrupt officials with Poll and Clattenburg who've secured victories for Liverpool over Everton"...and took the fine.

Nothing will happen, the papers will hardly mention it and it will be all about how the "Red men" overcame a stuborn Everton side

I honestly felt like smashing the tele when he got the red, thankfully only the door got the beating

We'll get a pat on the head as always. We should be going f*cking mental about this. If that [Poor language removed] faced Dalglish made a big song and dance then Moyes should be doing double. Dalglish refused to even acknowledge it.

Any Moyes comments yet? If he doesnt make a big deal out of this he will really lose my respect.

I seen some but they were quite withheld. He needs to be giving the [Poor language removed] hacks something to write about, call the bunch of corrupt tw*ts out on this. We've got every right to.

suarez did what he does best, and he got LFC the points. i dont think it will linger too long in the media and it will be business as usual. it will all be laughed off by the kopites - what else can they do but laugh, how could they be serious about suarez waving his arm as if he`d broken his leg, they would have to face the fact hes a despicable low-life, to get a fellow professional sent off by feigning serious injury is shameful.

This was 80% Atkinson and 20% Suarez

The Guardian sums it up absolutely perfectly thus:
More on the Rodwell incident: Having seen it again a few times now, two more points. First, Rodwell got to the ball, poking it out of the way, and by the time he made contact with Suarez his studs were no longer showing. It was never a red card in a million years, and probably not even a foul. As for Suarez: he went down under the challenge looking for the free kick, yes, but didn't do a great deal of rolling around: he had barely fallen onto his back before Martin Atkinson hoved into view waving the red card. The striker had little or no influence on it whatsoever. You might not agree with his tendency to hit the floor, but to concentrate on that would be to miss the point: this one's all down to the referee's interpretation of the challenge, which was simply incorrect.

(I would argue Suarez added some insurance to the matter by reacting as he did) - it's true there was contact - I think it probably would have hurt the player and he made a big deal of it - to be fair though it's quite clear, from a very short distance away from the ref - no intent, no studs showing, no foul.. nothing more to add is there really?

March on from this and put a run in

I hope this pisses them off as much as us and they put some performances in in the following months

Look at him, it's comical, he takes the slightest knock, JUMPS into the air, makes sure with his arm that he has a comfortable landing and THEN feigns injury. He won't even have the brains to be embarassed.

Today I was wishing fans would invade the pitch and beat the **** out of Atkinson and Suarez, that might have tamed my fury.

It's as bad as Silva's con for the yellow for Pip last week - Anelka running into Howard for a pen (and yes, 5 mins from the end when Jags wins a penalty (but you kind of expect and accept penalty situations rather than trying to win the game by influencing the ref with a dodgy card - this to me is an admission of extreme weakness on the part of the perpetrator.

I think most players try it on in the area - you're one down 5 mins to go - the opps have the upper hand ... but to win the game with this level of gamesmanship, which goes on all the time - it utterly reprehensible.

Nice guys finish last, Rodwell will be banned and Moyes won't say anything.

That's not to say it was a ludicrous decision, but being a cheating b*stard gets you places nowadays.

Dalglish got his way kicking off over ****e ref's, Moyes should do the same. Giving a straight red for a 'foul' that wasn't even a free kick in the eyes of even biased kopites should have this **** out of the premier league. Suarez is a snidey little **** and he sums up his employers perfectly.

Sadly, the only focus will be on Liverpool and their ability to break down a resourceful and plucky Everton, who after having England's potential Euro 2012 midfielder sent off following a reckless challenge on Uruguayan centre forward, Suarez.

Moyes, will be dragged in front of the disciplinary committee for having the gall to express an opinion and Rodwell's card will stand, as Atkinson will be seen to be following the "letter of the law" after what he believes was premeditated intent to harm another player.

We are Everton, after all :(

Suarez, he will just join the lengthening list of embarrassments to the Premier League, along with Tevez and Didier Drogba. And no more will be said on the matter of this pint sized, buck toothed, snidey diving conning arse wipe.
