There's no point in worrying about this anymore imo. We have a clear path to survival that doesn't depend on anyone else which is more then this team deserves. If we can't get four points out of two home games against Brentford and Crystal Palace then we simply don't deserve to stay up. Let's just make Goodison Bedlam on Sunday and cheer the donkeys over the line and then do the same against Crystal Palace on Thursday. COYB!

Let's make sure it's between them and Burnley in the end.

Not sure who is more crazier, The Leeds boss if that quote if True, or some Leeds Fans who i see who seem to think they only need one more point as they think Burnley will lose their final 3 games (I think Burnley will win final game & Expecting Leeds win tomorrow myself-so anything less than a Leeds win is a bonus)

Funny reading some of the comments about the “cool as cucumber “ posters predicting how everyone will be flapping if results go against us. I’m sure they’ve known aaaaalllllll along we are going to be alright and it hasn’t worried them one bit. Got to show how cool we all are on an internet football forum haven’t we.

Alls that’s needed now, is the return of the classic “bedwetters” shout.

Also funny reading the comments the last few weeks of posters who had us down and out with 7 or 8 games to go.
The premature speculators

I'll be honest, I had us gone a few weeks ago. Couldn't see us picking up any points against United, Chelsea & Leicester.
It didn't look good granted. We were all worried. But there was still plenty points to play for. Until you are gone you aren't..sounds simple but it's True. When people here were saying we would still stay up they were been ridiculed. Now It looks like we will they are been accused of not panicking enough ?

I'll be honest and hold my hands up. The turning point was the man u game for me. Messaged a couple of my manc mates the day after and just thanks for keeping us safe.

Go to the Burnley and Leeds forums and they’d have all wrote their own chances off at different stages, and had them safe at different stages, I don’t get why our fans think it’s just an Everton thing.

Just posted this in the DCL thread but have just done some research for a piece and it turns out Everton have only created 28 'big chances' (i.e. chances you'd expect a player to score from, so basically in the 12-yard, width of the goal or a 1v1) throughout the entire league season. Only Norwich have created fewer.

Last season, for DCL alone, Everton created 31 chances. Just for one player.

That's where the problem is, combined with letting in goals for fun earlier in the season, clearly.

Here's the list of the players that have created big chances for us in the league:

Richarlison5
Gray, Demarai5
Gordon, Anthony4
Iwobi, Alexander3
Doucouré, Abdoulaye3
Townsend, Andros2
Keane, Michael2
Digne, Lucas2
Alli, Dele1
Calvert-Lewin, Dominic1
Again proves why dispensing with most of our creativity James, Digne, Sig(through his own fault) and Bernard only replacing any of it with Gray/Townsend was a big mistake.
