Still crap? Absolutely. But the form we were in under Benitez would have us 7pts behind Burnley, rather than 2.

Every managers last 12 games before they are sacked is going to be abysmal reading including Frank's if ever it comes to it. (Hopefully not)

So far he isn't doing as good as Benitez. Once you dont manipulate and take away games that are inconvenient. But frank has time to put that right. And hopefully its not after we are relegated.

I'd like to compare two managers after an equal amount of games played myself.

Well our next 6 games will bring it ever closer to the same. Let's hope he can outdo Benitez. I am hoping he can and want him to badly. I think he can. We'll have to see though.

Benitez had home games against the worst teams in the division. We had the easiest start to the season I can ever remember. Once that had gone he was the worst manager we've had since Mike Walker. Lampard is nowhere near as bad, and the team is playing with more belief.

Benitez's first 12 were after a full pre-season with a fully fit squad (at the very start when the results were decent), for the most part, and they still weren't very good.

The results were decent until the United game. That was it.

It's fair to compare the last games of the previous manager because that form is what meant the other bloke got appointed in the first place.
