Look at Gareth Barry and Ryan Giggs, nearly 700 PL appearances each and played in the PL until 40 who both started playing in the PL at 17 years old. Giggs and Barry were playing way before the sea change of sports science in Football.

Someone 36 who's famously teetotal hasn't been a first team player for 3 seasons and not started more than 30 games in the last 3 seasons is deemed to be outrageously suspect, when you have the likes of his peers of his generation of Benzema, Lewandowski Dzecko, Zlatan, Modric, Ronaldo, Chiellini, Buffon, averaging 60 STARTS a season with club and country and still playing 35 and over and bossing it, if that is not evidence of the excellence of sport science in the modern age and you dispute that then it's ignorance.

Bar Dzeko all were, or still are, at the top of their game in their position. That level of talent allows you to boss it for longer. Milner is a yard dog who runs around a lot, and suspiciously as hard and fast as he ever has despite his advancing years.

The knee jerk defensive reaction to criticism
The 'whataboutery'...dragging other teams in

The rambling, hair splitting statistics pro them
