Relegation

If relegation does happen and we go down by a point or so to Burnley, I'll always look back at the chance richarlison missed at Turf Moor when we were 2-1 up.

I know there's loads and loads of things that we could say. Watford at home. Norwich away etc but the Burnley game and the timing of it was huge. That was a moment to put some real daylight between us.

But hopefully, his last.minite equaliser could be the goal that saves us. Either way, I hate feeling this nervy.

These critical games on consecutive nights for us and them. Feels truly awful to be in this position. I manage but stress has increased a little nearer the run-in. Too many permutations, if, buts, maybes, woulda, coulda, shoudas.

Feels like finals week at university all those years ago.

Even given how rubbish we are, I refuse to believe we can’t go there and get a draw. I’d like to think that if we have our best dogged performance we could stop any side in the league from scoring.

That’s why it hacks me off so much when we give them set piece goals or pass back goals. They don’t even need to cut through us most of the time, we just give them gifts. Let’s make them work for it and see how good they really are.
Well it's going to be 90 minutes of not being able to get out of our half, and constant pressure...

I'm planning intentionally to watch a Burnley match that doesn't involve Everton. Oh how I loathe you Everton for bringing me this depressing point.

We've got to get at least 7 but more like 9 points from last 7 games.
Which means the Watford, Brentford and Palace games are absolutely massive.

Every chance Burnley can win 3, maybe 4 of these games....we certainly don't want it going down to the last day of the season...

On paper, they have a much better run-in then we do

But you also have to take in consideration before they played us they only had won 3 games all season and hadn't even scored in several games. So the run in might be easier but you're also under-estimating their crapitude.
