With that said I agree we should swerve. Due to the squad nonsense at the start of the season and the deductions there was no pressure on him to perform at all. Next season will be the barometer, when he should be expected to bring them back up.

Fwiw I wouldn’t have him here either, think he brings too much baggage, but I think it’s fair to say he’s made a decent go of his short managerial career so far.

He's intriguing to me, but there is no way we should be considering him. We shouldn't really ideally have been looking at Lampard either and he has a better record by a good bit.
