The respective double games against Leicester and Villa would make an interesting side-story to this, if we were all neutral observers, that is. It must be very unusual.
Statistically, neither of the sides is likely to win or lose both games. It might in fact yield similar results for both teams in which case advantage Everton as two games more played and two less to come.
With us having the points advantage, it's imperative we at least get the win at home.
I'm not saying that makes the away game at Leicester a free hit, but it becomes close enough to it and would make a point a relatively big deal given how shockingly poor our away record is.
Home wins will be critical, but we may also drop points at home. If we took a point vs. Chelsea and 4 points vs Leicester, amongst the other points on offer, I'd be confident. That's probably too optimistic.
I said before I'm writing off derby game and Arsenal. That makes it tougher for us. In the remaining 6 games, I'd settle for 10 points, 11 would be an excellent return.
