Jonjoe Kenny

Lol I think the link comes from the echo
If you read the article, it's just the reporters opinion piece. He's basically saying that there's more chance that Begovic, Lonergan and Kenny get new contracts because they're cheaper than the other out of contract players i.e. siggy, Delph and tosun.

As usual, twitter somehow made this into "Kenny getting new contract".

"What counts for me is the project that the club is pursuing and how I can be integrated there.

"I want to become an integral part of a team and show game after game what skills I have, like now under Frank Lampard."

I think he knows he's not getting a new deal at Everton.
Mostly diving- in, terrible positioning and having little attacking instinct. The Premier league is harsh and shows the less than elite up every single game. All the best Jonjoe, hope you do well and play at a top level as you seem a sound lad but it’s not going to be in England. All the best

Say it again (huh!) shows what a reliable type Hibbert was. Spoiled with Coleman at his best but now the drop in quality is terribly cruel.

He's a better crosser than Coleman, but still nowhere near good enough for even the squad, never mind starting, out of position, at left back.

The only one I’ll give an extension is Begovic. Tyrer (spelling) or the keeper we signed in Jan can be 3rd choice.

If we give him a new contract for any reason than to immediately sell him for a fee then we clearly have no football acumen whatsoever.

If it wasn’t for other results going our way and our win against United, his star turn against Burnley could well have had us favourites to be going down.

Get him out this summer

Please no .

Only reason to keep him on would be if they’re looking at the squad overhaul and thinking he’ll buy them some time to address other, potentially more pressing matters first. Could act as cover at fullback. If it’s for dirt cheap and for a year I can understand a new deal. Let’s face it, the centre mids and centre backs will be getting overhauled, and DCL and Rich are both likely to leave. Kenny possibly saves them another headache.
