I think the time has come for those who concentrated on hating Benitez at the expense of supporting the team to put their hands up and own the fact they have placed this club over the trap door into the Championship, learn from that and never ever repeat it.
Why so triggered Davey - truth hurting you is it?

None of us hated your mate ahead of supporting the club, that narrative to excuse yourself needs to be kicked into touch.

We saw what he was doing while you and the rest of the Benitez bandits had their heads inserted firmly up the frauds hoop, and wouldn’t acknowledge the absolute shambles that was unfolding, so if anyone has placed this club over the trap door it’s tapastits and his cronies like yourself.

We wouldn’t have picked up the points at home we have if tapastits was still in charge, in fact we would probably be already in the bottom three, so it’s time for some self reflection by you and you’re besties - I won’t hold my breath.

Anyway, vive la Fronk and up the blues.

Oh Dave.

I still believe we need 9 points minimum to get to safety.

If we play like we did against United then we get them. If we dont (and/or we see injuries and suspensions to the defensive midfielders) we'll struggle to stay up. But right at this moment I think with the next round of matches for Everton and Burnley we stand a good chance of putting them into a tailspin they possibly wont recover from.
Agreed and though I never thought I'd write this, I believe Delph is central to our chances of staying up. He just seemed to understand everything that was needed and provided protection and leadership where required.

If Moyes does us a favour Sunday, and we beat Leicester then it'll look alot better. Whens the last time we strung two wins together? Hence the worry we'll muck it up.

The structural engineering required to build this take is breathtaking.

It's like looking at the Millau Viaduct, if it were hilariously wrong about football matters.

He was the real deal in that role.

Compare that performance with the ones heralded from DVDB (which weren't half as dynamic) and you can see what a valuable player we've missed.
