Never thought i would ever say this but thank god we have Delph fit and available for this run in. We look so much better with him back in the team. Then add Yerry coming back imminently, Allan back in the middle again, Mykolenko doing a Digne, Iwobi doing a Mo Farrah, Gordon and Richy doing a Gordon and Richy. Try and keep them all fit and we will be far stronger all over the pitch and especially defensively which has been our biggest weakness.

COYB's

The last time Delph returned from injury he put in a performance and then the manager picked the same team we did pants. Never underestimate this team's ability to screw it up!

If we could win two games on the trot that would be massive for us and give us 7 games to get two wins and a couple of draws which sounds manageable.

Nope. This close to season end. The team directly below us. A team who hadnt scored in 5 games. Was an absolute MUST not lose.
Infuriating defeat. I pray that Godfrey clearence doesnt come back to haunt us.
Water under the bridge. We got those 3 points from man u, and the canarys put the 3 poiunt deficit back in. Happy days.

I was at the match and was convinced we would get battered when I saw the team but we rode our luck and much improved in the second half even with a makeshift team.

It's good for mentality. Given the general results v Chelsea in last few seasons (I know there's been the odd thumping down at the Bridge but many teams suffer that) team won't wake up on morning of the game as negative as v many other teams this season so get into them a bit and see what happens as fans will play their part aswell.

Given the way this season is shaping up will probably beat Chelsea and then lose to Brentford!

Not sure why people assume we would have definitely beat United after we fictitiously beat Burnley
Yep. The whole reason Everton and Burnley are down the bottom is they can't win two games in a row, or even back up a win with a hard earned point.

We have a chance to do it next time out at Goodison and it would be huge if we could. Back to back wins are enormous in a relegation battle.

Although they have to win a few burnleys run in is quite a bit easier than ours
It is water under the bridge but shipping 3 against burnley. Just unreal defending away from home. Scary even.

Realistically you could remove at least 9 points of our current tally in my opinion!

Doesn’t bear thinking about!

Surely the away form wouldn't be as bad though? I mean last season up to about April was the best away run in prem since the Moyes era so works both ways (think the first Martinez season had good number of away wins aswell).
