Might sound daft but we'll beat United Saturday, they're as soft mentally as us and disorganised. At home, crowd behind, no cryarsing and get an XI lined up who have the bottle for it and we can get 3 pts.

Totally agree. There's another chance (at home) to return us from the dead. I want us to do it like we did against Leeds and Newcastle. I do feel like we're done though.

To late to change managers now. Ferguson would be an absolute disaster.
We have no goal scorers. We have no proper defenders (apart from Mina) and we have no quality midfielders. We are going down.
Again I understand that. I thought we were in trouble in November and would have been very vocal about that on here. But to be honest it's not in my character to give up while there still a chance. So if you say ferguson would be an absolute disaster then in fairness you have to surely come up with another option. Not just say we are down.

What planet are you living on?

Adrian heath has a lot to answer for. If he didn't score against southampton in the semi-final against southampton in '84, I mightn't have been a blue. I wouldn't have at least 5 more wrinkles than I should have. I wouldn't have sky high blood pressure. I wouldn't have neighbours who think there is a maniac living next door. I wouldn't have a drinks cabinet stocked up with domestos. Thanks inchy ?

Kenwright, Moshiri, Walsh, Koeman, numerous managers, all to varying degrees part of the reason we’re in this mess. Factor in the most cowardly squad in the history of professional sport and it looks like we’re done for. The 27 campaign and our dirtball neighbours love using the 95 cup win to showcase how long we’ve been [Poor language removed] but i personally believe we started to drift around 89/90. The likes of Carter going all in to get the Prem up and running then cheering on the clubs that showed ambition with brand growth and stadium upgrades, all the while happy to just coast along enjoying lofty titles within our club. The teary eyed gushing praise people throw at the Moyes era just backs that up. Almost dancing in the streets celebrating mediocrity and hoof-ball. Tragic demise of a truly great institution with the greatest supporters on the planet. I’m heartbroken but not shocked
There's a recent clip of Gary Neville talking about 'depression of ambition' (we get a mention) but it's about most prem clubs, but it is especially true at Everton. We became 'plucky' & 'punching above our weight' and were happy to give up on Kings Dock (which genuinely would have kicked us on ahead of many others) settled for Kirkby in a shed and so on, but, we had some good times ;)
We've definitely got the depression now.

Not when we have a billionaire owner who's happy to lob hundreds of millions into the club to cover losses.

People are getting confused with the club breaking the EFL's stricter financial rules and "doing a Leeds" where they literally had no money and going bankrupt.

Not ideal either way but its massively important that fans dont spread misinformation at times like this. We wont be doing a Leeds or Bury.

mate we’re down there isn’t no postives

the club will cease to exist

im
trying to hold of arguing but your not seeing this atall

In past seasons I would have fancied us on Saturday, but not with these players. I just want one of them to actually go into a 50/50 challenge like they actually care for once.

You really think he’s gonna piss money up the wall on a championship team that’s gonna add years onto his “project”?

100% his net worth since owning everton has nearly doubled.

Newcastle fans expected Mike Ashley to flog them when they went down and he never as he knew his investment woukd be down the pan if he didn't sell them as a PL club.

If you're Moshiri - do you:

A. Sell Everton for £100 million in the Championship

or

B. Cover the losses, get Everton back to the PL, finish BMD and sell Everton for £600 million?

Just feel sad now. This group of players, the board and the club have broken me. We're going down. It's going to be bad, just want it over with.
