Morning all, had a sprinkling of snow overnight and a few flurries this morning but the sun is shining at the moment. Very strong cold wind blowing though. Glad your appointment went well @Methuselah hope the results are good too. Good news on the housing front too @Terrarian . We have some of Mr G’s old table tennis bats along with his trophies which I consigned to the garage. I‘ll get them out in response to your campaign @jazzy I could be up for getting on the table but it depends how high the table is.???

Just got back from my walk and the guy to look at my boiler is here as well, just at one of the other flats first , good stuff.

Still nice and sunny down here. Mind you the wind has picked up and changed direction so I don't think my shorts will be seeing an outing today. lol
Anyway I'm going to spray the bathrooms now and after lunch it will be on with the marigolds.
Salmon salad for lunch today and later I'll be doing my braised steak, which reminds me I promised to pop the recipe for that in Sassy's thread. Sorry, Gwladys. I keep on forgetting you're a veggie lol

Anyway, for anybody who is interested, the recipe is now is Sassy's thread. As I said a couple of weeks ago, it's possibly the tastiest dish I have ever cooked myself.

I do try to eat less meat Jazz, it's hard to find tasty stuff on my budget though, some of the stuff I have had has been out right nasty lol I have some tofu to try for the first time, I might have that for tea actually.
I might put the heating on before the prices go through the roof tomorrow, it's cold today.
Good luck with the tofu T . I hate the stuff unless Mrs J does it with broccoli in a sticky peanut sauce with rice.

Spicy tofu bites they are, I've always stayed away from tofu as I watched how it was made once.
My flat is going to be a bomb site, getting new radiators and a new boiler as well as a new floor for the wetroom, I might wait a bit before nagging about the kitchen.
