RBL Matchday

Looks like we're going out of the FA Cup, to be expected, so my attention will turn back to Germany for the home game vs Frankfurt in the hunt for a CL place. Results around Leipzig have gone in their favour so far with a win here temporarily putting them into 3rd place till Leverkusen play against Wolfsburg later on. 3 changes (1 enforced) from the last match but this is, maybe without Kampl, the strongest XI at the minute. Frankfurt are a really good side, buoyed by the midweek EL win and will be very tricky opponents. Kostic, Kamada, Lindstrom, Knauff, Borre, all top attackers with a lot of pace. Would love a win, will take a draw.

2 points dropped but least picked something up. Were absolutely all over them for 90 mins but very wasteful in attack especially Nkunku which was a surprise. Dortmund next after the international break.

Will be keeping a keen eye on your updates in here as hopefully(for both of us) Gers and RBL could possibly meet in Europa League semi. ?

Will still be tough for us(especially if we play the way we did in first half today against Dundee!! ?)

We beat them home and away a couple of years ago in EL, so definitely doable.

Atalanta will be tough for RBL but fancy Leipzig to go through.
Will be watching with interest how you do against Dortmund in a couple of weeks. ?

Haha I wouldn't take too much from that game as they're quite the bogey team.

It's the beginning of an enormous month for the club, season defining by the end of it, with Europa League QF, cup semi-final & massive games in the hunt for the CL vs Dortmund, Leverkusen, Hoffenheim & Union. First up is the away trip to bogey team Dortmund. The squad lost Poulsen and Haidara over the international break as well as Henrichs with sickness today but aside from that everyone is there. The alien is back upfront for Dortmund so that's a guaranteed hat-trick there for him. Would love a win to solidify that 4th place with Hoffenheim & Freiburg losing but reckon surviving a point would be good.

Opening goal for the Bulls! Konni Laimer the beauty presses the life out of the Dortmund team then ends up on the end of Nkunku's pass to chip it over the keeper. Tie him down.

Great performance from Leipzig today, you've got to be favourites (on current form) to win Europa league tbh, would be extremely tough game for us if we managed to get past Braga(they played well yesterday as well to beat Benfica 3-2)

We've got a must win game(I'm season ticket so will be there) tomorrow against Celtic so focused on that atm.

Dortmund seem to be letting a hell of a lot of goals in these days!! Great result though,you'll be buzzing after that?
