If Benitez couldn't sort them out, the odds were long that Lampard could. I suppose the thinking was he would bring a different atmosphere to the place and people might get behind him. But the players have always been the problem and we are deservedly heading to the second division on the back of failing to recruit sensibly for the last six years.

The reality is we're actually getting worse. The euphoria of Thursday night already evaporated.

Our defence is a shambles and unfortunately our attack is only slightly better. Whatever they are working on at Finch Farm is having zero effect on the pitch. It's as disjointed as it was under Benitez.

Main reason we can't settle on a formation, team & style - the players.

They can't be trusted.
We don't trust them.
Frank doesn't trust them.
Teammates don't trust each other.

The 'form' fluctuates from 1 minutes to the next as the majority don't give a toss.

We 'showup' for 15mins, and revert to type because we've not got the conviction, professionalism or pride.

Majority of this squad downtools at the first sign of jeopardy- they've no fight, and no interest in a relegation battle. If we stay up, it's [Poor language removed] all to do with them.

Frank didn't create this mess, he clearly is struggling to fix it, but its not on him [same sentiments for previous managers]

Players don't need to play for the shirt, the club, the fans, the manager, just play for yourselves, individual professionalism - they don't.

This was our reaction to a win - gutless cowards

He needs to be given the time and money to rebuild the club. Chopping and changing managers isn't the answer. He can't start by getting a whole new defence in the summer
