If you want a nice warm Carling at £4-40 and a superhot scouse pie ( sorry no forks ) at £4 I can recommend the concourse under the MS. The catering at Goodison is beyond abysmal but I wouldn't care if we won a game now and then.

Genuinely, one of the best pints of Guinness I’ve ever had was in the Harlech Castle although I don’t think they serve food.

Sure is mate.... I used to go there before health problems led to me giving up my s/t.
Don't know about the Guinness as I'm not a regular blackstuff drinker, but it's a nice atmosphere and only a short stroll across County Rd and up the side St to the ground.
Fingers crossed for the win... Enjoy???

None of the bars by Goodison have good food lad unless you want a spoons. Actually don't think any of them serve food. Best option is a chippy by the ground or est in town prior

You will struggle to get food on match days mate too busy, better just going for a pint and grabbing a chippy on the way. I always liked the brick me but the Harlech is sound aswel.

As @Blues Harp replied, it is a blues pub on County Road. Don’t expect amazing devour, but it’s friendly with decent service and ale the times I’ve been.

The best food around goodison would be the hot wok ( the old blue house) but there is hardly any competition. Think the spellow has a food van but never tried it .
