I can see the same team being named for Wolves that started against City.

Lampard believes Iwobi can do a lot of work for him about the pitch and he'll keep Gray for coming off the bench.

Pickford
Coleman Holgate Keane Kenny
Doucoure Allan VDB
Iwobi Richarlison Gordon

...I'm pretty sure that'll be the line up and formation.
did your contact at finch farm feed you that intel?

Not sure about that Dav, looking at Iwobi, for one, who knew, looking at his last two games, how much energy he had, but it’s how he uses that energy, he still looks like, to me, a runaway horse, he doesn’t know where he is going or how he is going to use the ball, just gets rid of it without looking up and he still pulling out of tackling, he has scored against Wolves two or three times though so maybe horses for courses, even runaway horses!!
He's been busy in the Leeds and City games. I think we could do with that energy getting about Wolves' backline - who like to distribute a lot of Wolves ball's forward passes. If our front three can co-ordinate their effort and get in their faces we can stop their dangerous players receiving a lot of the ball.

The problem against Leeds and then City when we did that was that we were spent in the second half, so we need to make that pressing pay.

At what point do we bring Dele Alli into the team and where would you play him? Personally think he hasn’t got the discipline to play in a 3, so would rather see him right behind the striker where he thrived for Spurs - but that doesn’t really suit our formation.

Think he'd have to play in a narrow diamond to accommodate him, something like;

Allan
VdB, Doucoure
Alli
Rich DCL

But DCL has looked so off it I wouldn't start until for the rest of the season at this rate, and it would mean Gordon being benched and Gray not playing. Think he'll remain an option off the bench later on in the game, and if we stay up we'll likely see a formation change next year to accommodate him.

I think the next two games as a fan base we should stand up for the whole of the games, atmosphere needs to drag us over the line.
I mentioned this afrter the City game, the Park End, just either sat there or moaned while a lot of the Sreet End were on the feet up for the game, in fact even the Boreham game a lot of them walked down heading under for a pint rather then watch the game

Got chance of 2 tickets but it clashes with an event cancelled for last 2 years due to Covid at o2 in London, I'm tempted to sell my o2 event tickets as they will defo go and go the game instead, I feel like I need to be there again! missus will lose her shiz tho as its my other love Music!

*she'll get over it

Dunno. Think he fits nicely into the all over the place formation we've adopted. Also blends in well with the "I've no idea what I'm supposed to be doing" midfield
