I mean we fully are aren't we. He was naive tonight in how he set us up but the goals came from mistakes that could have been made playing in the way Benitez wanted to or Ancelotti or whoever, because they were mistakes from the same old players.

Now Lampard needs to change those players. Because that's all he can do. There's no fixing Keane or expecting Coleman to be able to play in away games. So just don't play them.
I;d agree that away games like that we should be playing deep and in numbers until we can get a foothold.

But FFS there's people here ithcing to get him out of the club after 6 weeks.

Utterly atrocious way of running a football club over the last 5 years you'd have to say.
Get behind this manager FFS.
Absolutely Dave. He's our only hope of turning this around but man has he got a job on. Pray we survive and just clear out (for the umpteenth season in a row) as much of the dross as we possibly can in the summer.

The set up looks wrong doesn't it mate....but like you keep repeating (I mean that in a nice way) if those mistakes don't happen, we keep them pinned and sooner or later we create something.

Pressing high is always going to offer the opposition chances, but let's be honest the defending and goalkeeping (2nd goal) is absolutely shambolic.

We've bought 2 full backs for about 30m who can't get a game against the crap currently on offer which doesn't exactly give the 2 new lads ringing endorsements does it.

BUT they'll need a run now because Coleman needs to be taken out, Kenny is limited going forward due to him being a rb, the CB situation is shocking....I could go on

If you are reading this Frank don't fall for the Hype DCL is dreadful, also get Keane in the bin he's lethargic and does not have the heart for this battle.

Those are my two main points. Godspeed.

100% this - he's the antithesis of tapastits from a footballing perspective.

Hope he's ruthless and bombs Keane, holgate & Coleman for good.
This is half of his problem....currently he has to depend on them given the injuries to Mina and Godfrey. He has made it clear that Patterson isn't ready and I am not sure Mykolenko is either. Even Branthwaite had the crap virus tonight but I have hope in Branthwaite
