I think both are onside.

What a disgrace VAR is chalking that Lukaku goal off for that.

Absolute jokers.

They could fix the onside problem by drawing the line from the feet. We’ve got an absurd situation where if strikers are pointing where they want the ball they’re more likely to be offside.

There’s actually air between Matip’s feet and Lukaku’s in that shot, that’s how onside he is, but because he pointed for where he wanted the ball and they drew the line from an arbitrary position on his arm it’s deemed as offside.
