ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I do think there is some need to get perspective here to be honest, the way some people started panicking when City lost to Spurs was unbelievable. They lost by the odd goal to a Spurs team with Harry Kane fired up with a huge point to prove, after about 13 straight wins. Meanwhile der mighty redmen beat Norwich and Leeds AT HOME, and there were towels being thrown in all over the shop here. Some were even claiming that we would put a hatful past City because their defence was so hopeless - they've conceded 17 in 27 games! Even the RS have conceded 20, despite having the world's best centre back, the world's best full backs and the world's best goalkeeper (or so they tell us anyway). Plus, why is 'a game at the Etihad to come' a worrying thing? Almost certainly the hardest fixture they'll face all season. They've already failed to beat them at home. Don't get me wrong, I'll still be happier if they lose or draw a couple, but still - City have got this.

Let’s hope you’re right. But City are the Worlds best team, or say we keep being told & the RS have scored 6 more goals having played a game less & have a better GD. City are brilliant, but before that Spurs game, the run City had was unbelievable. The fact the RS are still within touching distance is also unbelievable. The game at the Etihad IS a worrying thing, if the Title came down to that 1 game, the RS are certainly capable of doing them. Anyway, it’s all moot. The Hammers will take points off them tonight. ??

Good grief

Every rational fibre in my body says you are correct. However, after being a city fan for over 50 years I won't be getting the champagne out until we are holding the trophy.
I can still remember when Aguero scored that goal. I was in a South Yorkshire pub with a mixture of Barnsley/utd/kopites. The kopites and Barnsley fans were going mental, the south yorkshire utd fans were spewing. Everyone was slapping me on the back and congratulating me, but I was still chewing my finger nails thinking "there's still time enough for us to mess it up"

Presume you weren't here during the 70s when the rs were winning everything in sight.... you'd have shot yourself by now. Understand how you feel but in the end there's more important problems to worry about as opposed to wall pushing rs scum plastics having a go at us
But to be fair they were actually quality then and that was before all the tourists supported them and the game was fairer. They are almost certainly taking PEDS, and everything is designed to help them win. In the past the European cup was good as it was the luck of the draw, now it's designed to ensure they go through. They had much better teams in the past yet didn't destroy teams like they do now, how they haven't been investigated along with City is anyone's guess. How have their front 3 played consistently with any major injuries, without being rested yet they've still managed to score week in week out is suspicious. No other team has had that luck in the history of football.

Ok, so if both the rs and City are doping, why aren't the rest of the prem teams at it as well?
Are we denied access to the "good stuff?"
Why is there not a sniff or rumour in the media of what would be a huge story?
