ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I had to come to terms with them winning the league in 2020 and it took me a long time to do that. I've always laughed at them for never winning the Premier League and was gutted that they won it because I could never mention it.

I then changed my stance to "Same amount of PL titles as Leicester and Blackburn" which helped and it still riled them or that they were Covid Champs.

Think if they win it this year its going to be much harder to take as they will be level with Man Utd on titles and it looks a bit silly taking the p*** out of them for winning two PL titles.

I think why I'm depressed more is that I feel we are light years behind them off the pitch and our club feels like they are completely aimless. I don't think we will get relegated but we are just consigned to that phantom zone of nothingness again.

Everything always falls into place for them all the time. If we were two divorced Dad's we'd be the ones kipping on our mates sofa for a year while they would land on their feet and get a new woman who moved him in straight away to her house. They never ever seem to have any bad luck. Even the draw yesterday, you knew that they would get the easiest possible fixture. Now Dias is injured and City will drop more points.

Putting up with their smug attitude, especially off people who've never been to Anfield boils my blood and ill end up doing time for smacking one of them the more smug they get. No matter how good a season they have they won't pass up the opportunity to mention us or laugh at us. Despite the fact that loads of them say they aren't bothered about us or don't consider us as rivals anymore.

They crave attention, just ignore them. If they come at you with 'banter', just ignore them all the more. No words will hurt them more than you not rising to the bait. If you have to say something agree with them if they are calling Everton crap, etc. as it is true.

At the end of the day it is just a game of football. I have learnt over the years to just try and have a civil debate with them, they can't handle it as all they know is to act like a [Poor language removed] and try to get one over on opposing fans.

Presume you weren't here during the 70s when the rs were winning everything in sight.... you'd have shot yourself by now. Understand how you feel but in the end there's more important problems to worry about as opposed to wall pushing rs scum plastics having a go at us

If they start, just mention their 'faux pas'...so many to choose from. Awkward silence...then accusation of bitterness..keep straight face...question if they think those events didn't take place...they get annoyed and defensive...job done!
