Getting to SP, from Euston, was a nightmare.

A pub nearby had London Pride on draught, so that eased the pain a bit.

Just after we lost to United at Wembley the club threw a free coach up to Palce on a Wednesday night.

It took 9 hours, we drew 0-0, and it was bloody garbage.

I’d love the get excited by this sort of thing but there’s no way these players, even if they get past Palace, are capable of beating two of City Chelsea and Liverpool at neutral grounds. Would take a miracle for us to win it. No DvB either.

Will ultimately be our downfall.

Always done ok coming back from palace on the train. When coleman got the winner was back at lime street for 8.20. Most the coaches hadn’t even got out of London. Good day that.

Feckin' 'ell, I can get to Goodison quicker and I've got a car, plane, bus and train to get to Kirkdale! Not counting the walk from Kirkdale cos I'm usually pissed by then!
