Missed today’s match because of work and I’m just now looking at the score and I still can’t believe that Rondon actually score not just one goal but two. Wow, Frank is really transforming our players. Now I need to watch the highlights so I can witness with my eyes such a miracle ?

Fast forward to the second half .
First half was boring.

Never gonna be easy against lower league opposition with nothing to lose.. they’re known for not conceding many so were always going to make it awkward and difficult for us to break them down. First half we were a bit slow and lacking movement in the final 3rd, second half we moved the ball much quicker and movement up top stretched them and left spaces, that’s when the chances come and we managed to stick 2 away, it was always going to be a night for patience against an organised opposition but at the end of the day it’s job done.

It was also a really weird chant coming from them considering that they where dead quiet for most of the game. Today was like a cup final for them they where really meh. I've seen us play plenty of lower/none league sides at Goodison over the years and pretty much all of their fans put tonight's lot to shame.

Think some people disregarded Boreham Wood playing in their biggest ever match, who are very compact and professional footballers as Sunday league players.

We did the job. Rested a load and have a potentially winnable tie against Palace, even if our away form suggests otherwise!

Yeah. Might as well just watch the highlights in a few hours tbh. Not even the extended one, the 2 min will give you a perfect example of what happened.

All of you that are saying Anthony Gordon is greedy for shooting on sight - we have been crying out for our forwards to shoot on sight! Now we've got someone who does all you can do is moan. Gordon is the only one trying to do something. Townsend just passes back all the time and no one is in the box for the crosses.
