What is the actual point of you supporting if you continually predict defeats?

In fairness to anyone who has continually predicted defeats for the past few months they would have been correct almost every time.

VDB can play as an eight. But who do we pick instead though maybe Gomes for Alli maybe Patterson or JJK at left back we have no options? Gbamin doesn't seem to be trusted. Tell me who else we play we are on the bones of our arse.

He can't though. He did that in the league for Ajax but never Europe. He didn't at United. He's a 10. Kenny or Coleman has to be LB.

I think VdB can play anywhere in midfield. Looks calm and composed and can cope with the physicality.

I doubt it. At least he hasn't before.

We are really screwed at the back someone has to play left back I remember Holgate playing there in a few cup games I would stick him there and have Branthwaite alongside Kegger, we need someone new at the back for me and I think Branthwaite is going to have to play at some point with Mina's injury. Midfield three of Allan sitting deep, VDB alongside him but box to box and Alli pushing slightly on but also closing down their pivots hopefully. Then the front three. We need a result whatever it is we need a result, praying here.

Win or bust. The "we-can-win-this-one" games are becoming fewer and fewer since we've lost so many 'easy' games. Soon it'll be the "we-need-to-tear-up-the-record-book"games, back to back, too, i.e. not happening.

Fwiw I started following the club in 2011. We've never really played a real 4-3-3 in that entire time. Which is incredible because basically every top team with the exception of Atletico has spent some amount of time playing the system since then. Please Frank, be the change Everton needs.

We did under koeman, but with 3 10s in midfield, a 10 as rightwing and a 10 as right wing back.

The more I look at our defence and midfield, not counting the new signings and the injuries, the worse it looks.

I hope Frank can fit the new players in where they can improve what we've been seeing.

The only bit of hope I have is that Leeds have had some horrible defeats and their fans never know what they're going to get, either.

We need DCL and Richo to score and even that may not be enough.

You could have said this for many, many games this season because our fitness is woeful. I believe we'll win today, but it'll need a lot of effort.
