Just watched his pre Newcastle presser
Came across as what I want from an Everton manager cool calm dealt with the necessary and palmed away the unnecessary.
Like the way he mentions looking after players emotionally and naturally tactically . Really hope he’s a success for us as comes across as an intelligent knowledgeable guy.

Very likable indeed

I've notices a weird amount of positive media about everton recently. Almost like national media is behind him and want him to succeed. Like a national treasure

Seems very humble at happy to be at the club, and wants to engage with the club's history. Can't remember the last manager we had that from. Probably Martinez.
I don't know but Bobby brown shoes for all his faults did really "get" us, still thankful to him the way he welcomed HK back to the fold at Finch Farm before he passed away after the previous fella had ostracised him through his own jealousy of Howards success.

Messages here and messages there from the new manager.

No offence like - and I do like the reality of Lampard as manager and he should get 100% support from everyone for a season - but I for one am full to the 'kin gunnels with talk about what he's going to bring to the job and how refreshing it all is.

I just want to see him get a result against Brentford and then Newcastle. Time for the words to be put away and action to take over.

It feels like about two years since we've had a game so much has happened in the last 3 weeks.
Lol ok. But when Benitez was winning 1 in 14 actions and results didn’t matter right?
