It's more than just the goals Dave, he is a very important player for us, I know you don't approve of him but he will be difficult to replace. As regards his scoring record, it looks a little different if you look at the last 2 seasons rather than taking his earlier games, when he was just developing as a player, but, because we had nor adequately replaced Lukaku, he was expected to start and lead the line.

He was a kid when he started and often played out wide. You know this though.

Nobody is irreplaceable but it may be an idea to get rid of the lesser players rather than our better ones first.

The 2 morons who negotiated the wages on those players are the reason we can't shift them, also if the rumours are true DCL is pining for the bright lights of London town. We will see in the summer as there will be a lot of movement across all the clubs imo.

The whole team was built around him to serve him - balls into the box as the number 1 option. Hardly surprising he got a few more goals.

A good manager will find a players strengths and hide a players weaknesses. Let's see what happens but I reckon DCL misses as many chances as most strikers do. The key if getting more chances, we don't do enough of that.

He's better than you give him credit for Dave. I agree he's not a world beater, as I've already said, but, we will have a hard job getting in a replacement for him, so, we need to make sure if he is sold we get a lot of money for him.

Not sure who people think would replace him if he leaves. Is out of form but that hsppens with injuries hopefully lampard can get the best from him

Hardly built around him. Balls to your striker in the box seems like a good plan for any team. He is tall and good in the air, what other plan should there be?

He is a good striker, not top level, but probably as good as we can get right now.

We never replaced Lukaku, so I'm not sure why people are worried about replacing an inferior player.
