Typically when bitcoin falls out of it's parabola it dips 85%, also all the people who spent loads on crappy nfts need to get rekt and shaken out before we can go again.

Is it not more, governments/institutions will do all they can to protect their currency over a rival currency?

I mean whatever your view on bitcoin (and I am agnostic) it pitches itself against governments, do can hardly be surprised when governments react in kind.
