They tried to get kicked out of the league Cup last year by fielding an ineligible player too.

At this point they're just pushing and pushing the boundaries to see what they can get away with. They feel increasingly touchable. Surely at some point they'll go too far and will actually face punishment.

They've become the Lance Armstrong of football. It's instutitional cheating. They've even got their own in house lab.

Same as the way the prem is ruined whenever City win it by a large points margin, but when Liverpool were running away with it with a double figure lead before Christmas it was apparently the greatest premier league season of all time.
